Red Cross Helps 14 People After Fire In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Firefighters are investigating a fire that occurred early Saturday morning in the Northern Liberties section of Philadelphia.
Officials report that the fire began just after 3 a.m. in an apartment complex on the 600 block of Perth Place.
According to investigators, the fire gutted a second floor apartment where a family of four lives.
No injuries have been reported.
The Red Cross is helping 11 adults and three children with emergency needs due to the fire.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
