Reading Terminal Market To Remain Open For Papal Visit
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Businesses in Philadelphia are facing tough decisions when it comes to how they should operate during the World Meeting of Families and Pope Francis' visit to the city on September 26-27. Reading Terminal Market has weighed its options and will operate throughout the week and the weekend.
Reading Terminal Market will operate under a modified schedule during the World Meeting of Families and the Papal Visit.
The market announced that it will operate under its normal schedule from Monday, September 21 through Thursday, September 24. It will open from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
On Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26, the market will open at 8:00 a.m. and will add an extra hour, closing at 7:00 p.m.
On Sunday, September 27, the market will open at 8:00 a.m, an hour earlier than usual, and close at 3:00 p.m which is two hours earlier than usual.
