Drexel professor Dr. Chuck Williams teaches prevention of school-age violence and he thinks the NRA's idea to put an armed guard in every school is completely off the wall.
"I'm against police officers," he tells CBS3 Eyewitness News. "I'm against metal detectors. I think it's about a culture and a climate you create first in the home and our communities which is then carried forward into our schools."
On the other hand, political activist and mother Jennifer Stefano says the profile of these school shooters is always the same, a coward who takes advantage of people who can't defend themselves.
"They pick on the weak, they pick on the innocent. If they believed there are people behind those doors with guns, they're not coming in them," she said.
