Ray Rice Reportedly Removed From Madden, Jersey Exchanges Offered By Ravens

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) --- Following the release and indefinite NFL suspension of former Baltimore Ravens star running back Ray Rice, the merchandise collapse has set in.

On Tuesday morning, the Ravens announced the team will offer an exchange for Rice jerseys at the stadium stores. Also, two reports indicate that Rice will be removed from the EA Sports video game Madden '15 on Friday, as part of the week one roster update. Rice will not be listed among the free agents.

A Baltimore pizza parlor is also offering a free pizza to anyone turning in a Ray Rice jersey.

The restaurant says for every jersey it receives, it will donate $2.70 to an organization that supports abused women.

These moves may come as expected since Rice was in fact released from the Ravens on Monday, following new footage of him hitting his wife inside of an elevator.

Tuesday night, the owner of the Ravens released a letter to Ravens fans.
