Quakertown's Titans Of The Gridiron

QUAKERTOWN, Pa. (CBS) - A Bucks County midget football team is headed to Florida this week to play in the 2010 Pop Warner Super Bowl.

It's certainly been a successful season already for the Quakertown Panthers Junior Pee Wee (105 pound) youth football team, but they're not finished yet. They have some unfinished business in Orlando where the unbeaten Panthers will represent the Eastern Region of the country.

Trish Cass' 11-year-old son Nick plays half back and she says the kids are psyched to try to win the national championship:

"Oh it's been a roller coaster of emotion. I mean, we are just we're so thrilled for them. We are so proud of them, they have fought so hard to get here."

The games start Saturday. It's only the second time in the 54 year history of the Quakertown Midget Football Association that a team has qualified for the Pop Warner Super Bowl. Fundraisers are in place to help offset the cost of the trip to Florida.
