PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Penn State alumni held a candlelight vigil in honor of Joe Paterno this evening at Love Park in Center City.
More than 100 Penn State alumni gathered at Love Park to say goodbye to JoePa. Stephanie Ruhl is a 2011 Penn State grad. She held a candle for Joe, with tears in her eyes.
"I wish I could be out there right now to be with my Penn State family, but I'm here with real family to show any support that we can."
Her father, John, didn't go to Penn State, but says he feels just as strongly about Joe Paterno.
"There'll never be another Joe Paterno. He can't be replaced, but strength be to Penn State and anyway you cut it, we are Penn State!"
The alumni shared kind words, signed cards and said goodbye to the Joe they loved so much.
