Prince Harry To Make Appearance In Storm Ravaged NJ Town
POINT PLEASANT BEACH, N.J. (AP) — The mayor of a hard-hit Jersey shore town says England's Prince Harry will visit storm-wrecked Mantoloking next week before heading to a news conference in Seaside Heights.
Mantoloking mayor George Nebel says the heir to the British throne will take a short walk along Barnegat Lane, along the bay front, during a brief visit to town on May 14.
The prince will accompany New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie to Seaside Heights afterward.
Harry is visiting various areas of the country, and wanted to include areas of the Jersey Shore that were devastated by Superstorm Sandy in October.
Nebel says security will be so tight that most residents won't get near the prince.
