Preview: 243rd Philadelphia St. Patrick's Day Parade

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Philadelphia's Saint Patrick's Day parade takes place Sunday at noon and it will be aired on CBS 3 from 1 p.m. – 4 p.m. The parade begins at 16th and JFK Boulevard and wraps up at the art museum.
This is the second oldest parade in the nation, second only behind New York's Saint Patrick's Day parade.
The first Philadelphia parade was held in 1771. Bob Gessler, president of the Saint Patrick's Day Observance Association, announced parade plans a few days ago.
"We are blessed in the city of Philadelphia, people that have been around have heard me say this a lot, but I think we have the best Saint Patrick's Day by far, and that's because we have such strong groups, between the dancing groups and the county societies, and the AOH's, and everyone who just makes an effort to participate in our parade," said Gessler.
AOH if you don't know, stands for the Ancient Order of Hibernians, the oldest and largest Irish-Catholic Organization in the United States.
