By Hadas Kuznits
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - For many people, Thanksgiving is a time when the whole family gets together and there are some who need to mentally prepare for that.
Some folks say they're getting emotionally ready for their big Thanksgiving get-togethers and the personal questions they expect family members to fire at them.
(Woman): "Sometimes they grill me."
(Man): "Have you gained weight? Are you gonna have any more children?"
(Woman): "When am I gonna get married to my boyfriend?"
(Man): "Are you greyer than the last time I saw you?"
(Woman): "Do I have a boyfriend yet or why am I not married, no kids?"
(Man): "And when am I gonna bring a date to dinner."
Reporter: "How do you answer that one?"
(Man): "When I find the right lady."
This woman says, "pass the potatoes" is an excellent response for any question you don't want to answer: "I think the food is a fabulous distraction, it seems to always work for us."
While this woman prefers the direct approach: "You mind your business!"
Reporter: "You just say it like it is!"
Woman: "You mind your business, that's what I'm going to say!"
