Pregnant Woman Injured In Camden Shooting
CAMDEN, N.J. (CBS) - Authorities in Camden County say a pregnant woman was wounded after a shooting that took place in Camden, New Jersey Friday.
Police say they found the 25-year-old woman, who had been shot in the right arm, after responding to reports of multiple gunshots in the 1300 block of Lake Shore Drive just before 9:30 p.m.
She told she ran into her home after hearing numerous gunshots and realized she had been struck.
She was treated at Cooper Hospital, where staff learned she is four months pregnant.
She and her unborn child are in stable condition.
Police are asking anyone with information to contact The Citizens Crime Commission at 215-546-TIPS.
The Camden Police Department is offering a $500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for this shooting.
