Pre-Teen Boy Drowns Accidentally in French Creek

ELVERSON, Pa. (CBS) -- A 12-year-old boy drowned in French Creek, in northern Chester County, on Wednesday afternoon.
Pennsylvania state police say the boy slipped on rocks and fell into the fast-moving river in Warwick Township, just before 3pm.
Emergency crews performed CPR at the scene, but the boy was pronounced dead at Brandywine Hospital.
The boy's name was not being released.
