Prayer Vigil Held For Victims Of Deadly Carjacking Crash

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Family and friends of three children who were killed Friday in a carjacking, hit-and run crash gathered Saturday evening for a prayer vigil at the scene of the incident.
The three siblings, 15-year-old Keierra Williams, 10-year-old Joseph Reed, and 7-year-old Terrence Moore died selling fruit on the corner for their church.
"Very gentle kids, very good kids, they were always close to her," said Wanda Logan, a neighbor.
By her, she means Keisha Williams, the children's mother. Last Saturday, she brought them to the garden, all smiling. This Saturday, she is fighting for her life in a hospital bed in critical condition.
"Dedicated, hardworkers, they were playful, they were kind," said Lola Blount, a pastor.
Williams, her three children and another woman were all hit by a car that went out of control at Allegheny and Germantown Avenues. Two suspects had stolen it at gunpoint from a realtor moments earlier. They crashed when a tire blew out, fleeing the scene as their victims lay dying on the sidewalk. The pair remains at large.
"I believe in God that the perpetrators will be brought to justice," said Linda Lewis, a minister.
"Those three children will not come back. They're dead. So they have that to live with," said Ruth Jones Booker, a neighbor.
In the meantime, a heartbroken neighborhood can do little more than mourn and pray.
A reward of $110,000 dollars is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
