PPA Won't Enforce Saturday Expired Meter Violations During Holidays
By Jim Donovan: I've got some good news for shoppers that park in Philadelphia during the holidays. The Philadelphia Parking Authority has announced that expired meter violations will not be enforced on Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas after 11 a.m. All other parking violations will be enforced.
The PPA also announced an $8.00 parking rate on Saturdays from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the following Parking Authority parking garages during the holiday season.

AutoPark @ 8th & Filbert
AutoPark @ the Gallery (10th & Filbert)
AutoPark @ Jefferson (10th & Ludlow)
AutoPark @ JFK Plaza (underground garage 16th & Ben Franklin Parkway)
If a patron stays or enters a garage after 5 p.m., the regular posted rates will apply
