Postal Service Suspends Mail Service For Some Zip Codes
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – The postal service has suspended mail service for some zip codes as a winter storm slams the region.
All post office with zip codes beginning with: 170, 171, 172, 173, 174, 175, 176, 178, 179, 180, 181, 182, 183, 195, and 196 will suspend operations on Saturday.
Post offices, mail delivery and mailbox collections are all closed and suspended for the day.
The Postal Service asks residents clear steps and walkway of snow and ice after the storm so letter carriers can resume deliveries safely on Monday.
