9 Eagles' Player Stats Prop Bets
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- The statistical props for every NFL team were released by Bovada LV on Tuesday.
For the Philadelphia Eagles, Carson Wentz, Ryan Mathews, Jordan Matthews, Zach Ertz, and Fletcher Cox were featured. Wentz, who was named the starter, is projected to average 235 passing yards per start and his over/under for starts is set at 12.5.
Here is some advice on how to handle the nine Bovada Eagles' player prop bets.
Carson Wentz
Average Passing Yards Per Start in the 2016 Regular Season
Over/Under 235
That's 3,760 passing yards over a 16-game season. That's a lot to expect from a rookie with arguably the worst receiving corps in the NFL and a potentially suspect offensive line. Take the under.
Total Starts in the 2016 Regular Season
Over/Under 12.5
I want to say over, but Wentz broke his wrist his senior season at North Dakota State and then fractured a rib in his only preseason action. Stay away
Ryan Mathews
Total Rushing Yards in the 2016 Regular Season
Over/Under 900
Obviously health is a concern with Mathews, but in each of the two NFL seasons he has received 200 carries he's surpassed 1,000 yards. He'll get 200-plus carries this season and he'll surpass 1,000 yards. Take the over.

Total Rushing & Receiving TD's in the 2016 Regular Season
Over/Under 6
Rushing and receiving? Unless he gets hurt, I can't see how Mathews doesn't score seven total touchdowns. Take the over.
Jordan Matthews
Total Receiving Yards in the 2016 Regular Season
Over/Under 900
Matthews enters the season after missing the entire preseason with a knee-injury. Last year, in Chip Kelly's offense, Matthews caught 85 balls for 997 yards. This year, he's the only Eagles' consistent WR threat in all situations and with a rookie QB on a defense-first oriented team, expect his numbers to regress. Take the under.
Total Receiving TD's in the 2016 Regular Season
Over/Under 6
Six isn't a ton, but Matthews only caught eight in each of his first two seasons. Dorial Green-Beckham gives the Eagles another red zone threat, as does Wentz and his legs. Plus, you have to think Ertz scored more than two TD's this year. Stay away.
Zach Ertz
Total Receiving Yards in the 2016 Regular Season
Over/Under 750
Ertz had 853 receiving yards last year in 15 games. I think his snap share continues to increase this year thanks to his improved blocking and he has a big year. Take the over.
Total Receiving TD's in the 2016 Regular Season
Over/Under 4
Porter: Touchdowns are so hard to predict, especially for tight ends. The Eagles aren't going to be in the end zone a ton anyway, so I'd stay away. Stay away.
Fletcher Cox
Total Sacks in the 2016 Regular Season
Over/Under 8.5
Cox had 9.5 last year under Billy Davis' 3-4 system. Now, he gets Jim Schwartz and an aggressive 4-3 defense and we've already seen flashes in preseason. Take the over.
