Police Investigate 2 Main Line Carjackings

RADNOR Twp., Pa., (CBS) - Police asked for the public's help Thursday to help solve a carjacking.
Lt. Chris Flanagan of Radnor Township police said a suspect forced a woman out of her vehicle Tuesday around 7:30 p.m. at the Villanova University train station along Route 320.
The suspect took off, driving away in her black 2009 Porsche Cayenne.
"Anything the public has seen, we want to hear because no lead or bit of information is unimportant," said Flanagan.
The suspect was described as a thin, black male with a skinny mustache.
Radnor Township police said they had notified surrounding communities of the investigation, including Lower Merion Township.
Last week, Lower Merion Township police reported their own carjacking incident at a retirement community.
Police would not say if the two crimes are related.
"It makes me a little uneasy, I guess," said Debbie Doyle, who owns a black Porsche Cayenne and works at the train station.
"There's just always so many commuters and students around here that I never would expect something like that to happen," said Doyle.
Police said witnesses tried to stop the suspect, and although he did get away, officials credited the bystanders with preventing the suspect from harming the victim.
The victim was unharmed.
