Police: Woman, 54, Stabbed To Death Inside Woodbury Apartment
WOODBURY, N.J. (CBS) -- Police are investigating the stabbing death of a woman inside her Gloucester County apartment Monday night.
The Woodbury Police Department was called to Woodbury Court Apartments at about 8:30 p.m. for the report of an unconscious woman.
When officers arrived, they found 54-year-old Ramona Johnstone in her apartment suffering from multiple stab wounds. Johnstone was taken to Underwood Memorial Hospital, but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Authorities say an autopsy was scheduled to be performed on Tuesday. Investigators say Johnstone lived in her apartment alone.
So far, no arrests have been made and a motive in the deadly stabbing remains under investigation.
