Police: Two 7-Eleven Stores Robbed At Gunpoint Minutes Apart In Northeast Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a pair of armed robberies at 7-Eleven convenience stores overnight in Northeast Philadelphia.
Police say the robberies occurred just minutes apart. The first happened around 2 a.m. Sunday at a 7-Eleven along the 7900 block of Frankford Avenue. Ten minutes later, a second 7-Eleven was robbed at Bridge and Thompson Streets.
Investigators say three men, armed with a gun, stole cash and cigarettes before fleeing in a maroon vehicle.
No one was injured during either robbery.
Police are searching for the suspects.
