Police: Tips Via Social Media Led To Arrest Of Suspects Wanted For South Jersey K-Mart Robbery
GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP, NJ (CBS) – Police say tips on social media led to the arrest of two suspects believed to be responsible for a robbery at a K-Mart store in Blackwood last week.
The suspects, a male and a female, also had a child with them, when they allegedly dismantled a locked display case in the store and stole $1,444.64 in game consoles (see previous story).
Police say several anonymous tips were received after the information on the suspects was released to the public.
Twenty-six-year-old Kristopher Green and 23-year-old Kimberly Wilmore, both of Glassboro, were arrested and charged with the crime on April 8, 2013.
The child detected on surveillance video from the store was not involved in the incident and was unharmed.
