Police Seeking Help Finding Suspects In Bucks County Restaurant Theft
BENSALEM, Pa (CBS) -- Bensalem police are asking for help from the public as they try to identify two women who they say swiped cash and a credit card from a woman's purse in a Trevose, Bucks County restaurant on Sunday night.
Sometime shortly before 9 p.m., the victim and her family were having dinner at the Longhorn Steakhouse near the Neshaminy Mall when they noticed an American Express card and $500 in cash were missing from a wallet.
Police said the credit card was used at two nearby stores to charge $1,000 worth of merchandise at the Target and $500 at a CVS store.
Bensalem Sergeant Andy Aninsman said they have surveillance shots from the CVS.
"Of the two black females coming in, one is identifiable. She has a garb on. And the other one is a wearing a shirt and she's got glasses."
Aninsman said they are comparing notes with other area police departments to try to determine whether these women have struck before.
