Police Seek Two Suspects In Attempted Robbery Of Center City Restaurant
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are looking for two suspects who attempted to rob a Center City diner on Sunday morning.
The incident happened around 6:15 a.m. at the Midtown II Restaurant located at 122 South 11th Street.
Authorities say to masked men, one armed with a sawed off shotgun, entered the diner, forced employees into the basement and then demanded money from the manager.
However, police believe something startled the suspects, who quickly fled before getting away with any cash.
No injuries were reported.
