Police Seek Public's Help In Locating Suspect In Northern Liberties Store Shooting
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - At just 20 years old, murder suspect Quasheam Richburg can't even legally buy a beer, yet police contend he pulled the trigger in Thursday morning's cold-blooded killing of a Fishtown convenience store clerk.
Tonight, the manhunt is on and it is a dangerous situation. Police are tracking down a man they say is an armed killer.
The victim, Mustafa Shaker, was a married father of two teenagers and he died instantly when he was shot in the head just before 3 a.m.
Investigators say the surveillance video led to the identification of Richburg.
"Right now the whole police department is out there looking for him. It's an active murder warrant. We are considering him armed and extremely dangerous. So it's in the best interest of everyone involved if he would turn himself in," Philadelphia Police Captain James Clark said.
Court documents obtained by Eyewitness News indicate before Thursday's shooting Richburg was already a fugitive of justice.
He had a bench warrant out for his arrest after he failed to show at a May 10th hearing connected to a weapons charge for which he originally posted $500 bail.

Shaker had been working the midnight shift for the past eight months to support his family.
His killer used a sawed off shotgun.
"In a cold-blooded fashion they fired two times from the shotgun. One of which missed him, the second round struck him in the head. He was killed instantly," Clark said.
According to police, Richburg may live on the 2500 block of Ridge Drive in Johnson homes in North Philadelphia.
There is a $1000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of both suspects.
