Police Seek Public's Help In Identifying CVS Store Robbery Suspect
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police in Philadelphia are searching for a man they say robbed a CVS Pharmacy earlier this month.
The incident happened on March 6th at a CVS in the 7500 of City Avenue. Police say the suspect walked around the store and stuffed several items into his coat, then left the store without paying. An employee witnessed the man leaving the store and attempted to prevent the theft but was instead struck by the suspect.
The employee suffered severe lacerations as the result of the attack. The suspect, who is described as a white man, 5'7"-5'8", 150 pounds with light facial hair, was seen running away eastbound on Haverford Avenue.
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying the suspect.
