WILMINGTON, Del. (CBS) — The New Castle County police is asking the public for help identifying a man who allegedly sexually harassed elderly women on several separate occasions.

During the most recent incident, police responded to a sexual harassment complaint at the Delcastle Recreation area Sunday morning.

The officers interviewed the elderly victim and realized similarities between Sunday's incident and two previous reports.

"The subject, the victim described is identical to the one from earlier this month," said Master Corporal Michel Eckerd.

Master Corporal Michel Eckerd says the man has been making crude comments, but the fear is he could escalate.

"We just want this to end," said Eckerd.

Authorities believe the same suspect is responsible for sexually harassing two other older women, once on Aug. 9 and again on Aug. 12, by the park near the Chelsea Estates.

"I think it's unacceptable and we need to do something to stop it," said neighbor Francisco Matina.

That's what police hope to do, they grabbed these surveillance photos of the suspect getting onto a Dart Bus.

Neighbor Francisco Matina says while they're concerned the community can step in and help.

"We need to fight for this place and recover this place, I invite everybody in the community to put effort into everything that is going on around their place," said Matina.

Police describe the suspect as a thin, white man with black hair, about 5'7", with a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing all black with a black baseball cap.
