Police: Security Guard Shot, Robbed At Sunoco Station
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police are searching for a suspect who is accused of shooting and robbing a man in a security guard uniform in the city's Mantua neighborhood.
Authorities say the suspect caused a disturbance at a Sunoco gas station on the 3700 block of Girard Avenue just after 11 p.m. Wednesday evening.

The victim, Howard Rubin, a 42-year-old school police officer who was wearing his uniform at the time of the shooting, is not associated with the gas station. He told police her heard a disturbance and approached the building when he was shot.
"I'm very lucky to be alive," said Rubin, who spoke exclusively with Eyewitness News. "Someone's looking out for me. God was definitely there for me."
Rubin, who was taking a break during work, was shot in the neck and later robbed of his cell phone.
The victim was taken to the 
Hospital at the University of Pennsylvania in critical but stable condition.
"I cannot believe, that me, of all people, was shot," said Rubin. "He (the suspect) tells me, 'if you get up, I'm going to shoot you.' How can you rob somebody after you shoot somebody?" Rubin said.
The suspect, who can be seen on a surveillance camera, fled in a green Chevy venture mini-van.
Doctors told Rubin that he should be lucky he isn't paralyzed.
"It wasn't my time, I still have something to do on this Earth," said Rubin.
