Police Searching For Missing Pennsburg Man
ALLENTOWN, Pa. (CBS) – Police near Allentown are searching for a missing man.
Mark Drenning, 52, of Pennsburg, has a history of depression and has been diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS).
On Wednesday morning, his roommate was under the impression that he'd gone to work at Kids Peace in Allentown; however, records from the business show he hadn't worked at the company for about six months.
Mark's mother, who was expecting him Thursday for Thanksgiving around 1 p.m., says that her son has been experiencing intestinal problems recently in addition to his other illnesses.
As of Thursday afternoon, Mark's phone was turned off and his provider is unable to "ping" the device. Records indicate that there have been no outbound calls on Mark's phone since November 26th, when he called his mother.
Drenning is described as a 5'5" white male who weighs about 140 lbs. He has brown hair and eyes and wears glasses. Police say Mark drives a gold 2005 Volvo S60 sedan with registration JFG-5909.
Anyone with information on Mark's whereabouts is asked to contact the Upper Perk Police District at 215-679-8203.
