Police Searching For 2 Suspects In Metro PCS Robbery In North Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)- Two unidentified men are wanted by police after robbing a Metro PCS Store in North Philadelphia.
According to police, the incident happened at about 3 p.m. on August 9, when the two suspects entered the store located on North Broad Street. In the surveillance video, the first suspect is seen demanding money from the register, while the second suspect shows the employee a black handgun located in his waist area. Police say the employee then opened the register and gave the suspects $850 in cash. Both suspects then fled the store on foot westbound on Allegheny Avenue.
Police describe the first suspect as a 30-year-old black male, standing 5-feet, 4-inches tall, with a thin build, light complexion and wearing a navy blue shirt and a polo hat.
The second suspect is described as a 30 to 40-year-old black male, 5-feet, 11-inches tall, with a heavy build, dark complexion and wearing a brown and white polo shirt and a Phillies hat.
