COLLINGDALE, Pa. (CBS) – Police have returned to the home of a missing Collingdale woman in search of clues in her disappearance.
Police say her husband, Jose Rodriguez, last spoke to her on Friday, April 19th.
According to her husband, Melissa told him she was heading to Newark, N.J. to stay with friends for the weekend, but, after making contact with them on April 19th, friends say they never heard from her again.
On April 29th Collingdale Police hauled a work truck, belonging to Jose, from North Jersey as part of their ongoing investigation (see previous story).
Eyewitness News learned that police searched around her residence with search dogs. Officials wrapped up their search Tuesday afternoon after not finding anymore clues in the search for Melissa Rodriguez.
"We established our probable cause, got authorization through the DA's office, and as part of the investigation, we did our search today and it came up that it was nothing. But we can rest comfortably that she's not here," said Collingdale Police Chief Robert Adams.
Anyone with information is asked to contact either the Collingdale Police at 610-586-0502 or Delaware County CID at 610-891-4700.
