Police Search For Suspect In Delaware, Pennsylvania Burglaries

GARNET VALLEY, Pa. (CBS) - Police in Delaware and Pennsylvania believe one man is burglarizing businesses on both sides of the state line. And he could also be operating in other nearby states like New Jersey or Maryland.
Early on August 6th, surveillance cameras at the Booths Corner Farmers Market in Garnet Valley, Pa. captured a man who police believe broke into the A&M Collectibles stand and stole $18,000 worth of rare coins and jewelry.
Among the items stolen, three sets of Chinese silver dollars worth up to $400 each.
"That really sets us back to day one," said one of the owners of A&M, who asked not to be identified out of concern for his safety. "It took us nine years to collect what we had, and they took everything. We're still trying to contemplate how we're going to recover."
Police believe the man cased the market in advance because he knew exactly where he was going and what he wanted. He appears to be an experienced burglar.
The man seen at A&M looks very similar to a thief seen in surveillance photos breaking into D&H Liquors 20 miles south in Red Lion, Delaware last month. Delaware State Police say the man broke into that liquor store two nights in a row, trying to steal cash from the ATM. He failed both times.
The man is described as a white male, 30 to 40 years old, 5'10" to 6'0" with a muscular build. At both locations he appeared to be carrying bolt cutters to break through locks.
