Police Search For North Philadelphia Grocery Store Robber
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are searching for a suspect who they say robbed a grocery store in North Philadelphia.
The incident occurred on January 3rd around 4:45 p.m. at the Pena Grocery Store located at 701 West Butler Street.
According to police, surveillance video shows an unknown male enter the store and point a handgun at an employee. The suspect demanded money from the employee who put $700 into a bag, says police.

The suspect then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
The suspect has been described as a 6-foot, white or light complexion Hispanic male with a thin build between the ages of 20 and 25. He was wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt the brown designs, blue jeans, a black mask and had a handgun.
