Missing Elderly Woman With Alzheimer's Found
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police say a missing elderly woman with Alzheimer's has been found.
76-year-old Emma Ellican was reported missing from the 5500 block of Westford Road at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
Authorities say Ellican was located at Frankford Hospital on Saturday. No further information was released.
Officials say Ellican recently moved to Philadelphia from the Philippines and speaks and understands English in a limited capacity. She also has a very short-term memory.
Ellican had allegedly gone missing in the Phillippines several times in the past.
There was no immediate word on Ellican's condition.
