Police Search For 3 Suspects Wanted In Bala Cynwyd Bank Robbery
LOWER MERION Twp., (CBS) -- Police are searching for three suspects wanted in connection with a bank robbery in Lower Merion Township.
On Monday at 11:16 a.m., three suspects armed with at least one handgun entered the Wells Fargo Bank located at the 300 block of Levering Mill Road in Bala Cynwyd.
Lower Merion Police say one of the suspects jumped over the counter while the other two stayed in the lobby area.
Police say they robbed three tellers of an unspecified amount of cash and then demanded the cell phones of the employees and customers in the bank.
After obtaining some of the cell phones and the cash, police say they fled the bank out the rear door.
All three suspects are described as Black males wearing ski masks which covered most of their faces. No further description is available at this time.
