Police Respond To Shooting In Southwest Philadelphia Early Saturday Morning
PHILADELPHIA (CBS)--Early Saturday morning police responded to a report of a shooting on 72nd and Linbergh Boulevard.
The 27-year-old male victim stated that two unknown males came from behind and pointed a gun at him while they went through his pockets, stealing his iPhone, wallet and his money.
Then one of the suspects shot the male victim in the right thigh.
Medics transported the victim to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he is currently in stable condition.
The first suspect is described as a black male, 6 feet 2 inches tall, wearing a black sweatshirt with a graphic on the front of a silver revolver.
The investigation is ongoing.
