Police Probe 2 Shootings In Northwest Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating whether two shootings early Monday morning are related.
The first shooting happened at about 1 a.m. at 23rd and Diamond Streets in Northwest Philadelphia.
According to investigators, an 18-year-old male was found with a gunshot wound in the doorway of a home. The male is in stable condition at Temple University Hospital.
The second shooting happened a short time later at 24th and Cumberland Streets, also in Northwest Philadelphia.
According to police, two suspects fired gunshots into a home. A male inside the home suffered minor injuries after being cut by glass shards. The victim was treated at the scene.
So far, no arrests have been made in either shooting. Anyone with information is urged to call 911.
