Police: Pipe Bombs, Weapons Found Inside Kensington Home

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – One person is under arrest after police say they found pipe bombs and other weapons inside a home in Philadelphia early Thursday morning.
The incident happened inside a home on E. Thompson Street near Lehigh Avenue in the city's Kensington section.
According to authorities, Philadelphia police officers and U.S. marshals were serving a warrant at the home.
When they entered the home, investigators say they found five assault rifles, three handguns, as well as three explosive devices.
The bomb squad was called to the scene to investigate the discovery of the explosive devices.
Officers cleared residents from nearby homes and shut down the block to vehicle and pedestrian traffic.
Police say 31-year-old Nicholas Suozzo was taken into custody. He has been charged with weapons of mass destruction, possession with intent to distribute, knowingly and intentionally possessing a controlled substance, risking catastrophe, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of an instrument of a crime.
Bail has been set at $3 million.
The ATF and the FBI are part of the investigation.
