Police: Contractor Became Trapped After Suffering Medical Emergency At Adventure Aquarium
CAMDEN (CBS) – Camden firefighters and EMS responded to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, New Jersey after a contractor became unconscious while working on a piece of equipment.
According to police, the man was working on scaffolding and had a medical emergency. It was at this time, he fell and became trapped.
Crews were able to rescue him and and transport him to Cooper Hospital. He was responsive during the transport.
His condition is unknown at this time.
Adventure Aquarium says no guests or animals were impacted and the specific job site has been closed until a full investigation is completed.
The Aquarium is open and fully operational.
