Police: Man Stabbed In N. Philadelphia Apartment

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a man was stabbed inside of an apartment in North Philadelphia early Thursday morning and they have two suspects in custody.

The attack happened on the 800 block of North Broad Street at 6:30 a.m.

Police responding to the incident found the victim on the street, bleeding from wounds to the back of the head and neck.

The officers quickly began a search for a black Jaguar with Pennsylvania license plate, GNA-3274.

According to authorities, a 37-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man were stopped by police in a black Jaguar matching the description a few blocks from the scene, minutes after the attack.

The two were immediately taken into police custody where they are expected to be charged.

The victim, a 27-year-old man, was taken in critical condition to Hahnemann University Hospital.
