Police: Man Injured In West Philadelphia Hit-And-Run
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police say a man is hospitalized in critical condition after a hit-and-run in West Philadelphia.
It happened shortly before 9 p.m. Monday at the unit block of South 59th Street.
According to Philadelphia Police, a man was struck by a Volvo station wagon as he crossed the street.
Police say the vehicle fled the scene.
The man was taken to the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania by police. Investigators say he is in critical condition with head and internal injuries.
An investigation is underway.
