Police: Man Crashes Into Phila. Police Cruiser, Driving Stolen Vehicle
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia Police say a man drove into a police cruiser on Friday night, causing severe damage. The incident took place around 9:04 p.m. on the 22oo block of W. Montgomery Avenue.
Officials say that the police vehicle was responding to a call when a man driving south on 23rd street ran in the front of the police car. Authorities say that the vehicle that the man was driving was stolen.
Officials add that the police car sustained heavy front end damage. The police officer in the car only sustained minor injuries.
Police add that they have one man in custody in connection to the incident.
