Police Looking For Suspect In Arson At Cinnaminson Wal-Mart
CINNAMINSON, NJ (CBS) - Police are trying to find out who set a fire inside a South Jersey Wal-Mart yesterday afternoon.
It happened at the Wal-Mart on Route 130. Flames erupted in the arts and crafts aisle, stocked with bulk cloth and items used to make clothing. A customer tried to knock down the flames before police and the fire department extinguished the fire.
Cinnaminson police sergeant Bill Covert says, "It could have been very dangerous. People see fire, they do weird things. Luckily, there was one minor injury, and that was the actual citizen who got some burns, claimed he had some burns on his hands and was treated at the scene by the ambulance squad. But it could have been a lot worse."
Detectives are hoping store surveillance video will help them get a description of the arsonist. Right now, police have no suspects.
