Police Looking For Suspects In Two Wyomissing Bank Robberies

WYOMISSING, Pa. (CBS) – Police in Wyomissing are searching for suspects in two bank robberies on Saturday morning.

The first incident occurred at the Metro Bank on State Hill Road around 7:48 a.m. The suspect reportedly handed the teller a note and stole an undetermined amount of cash. There was no weapon displayed.

The suspect in this robbery described as a white male in his mid-forties to early fifties, approximately 5'8" tall and 185 lbs, with short hair. He was wearing a gray t-shirt, gray pants, black sneakers and a white baseball cap.

The second incident happened at 11:58 a.m. at the Customers Bank on Woodland Road. The suspect walked into the bank and demanded money from the teller. No weapon was displayed. The suspect left the bank with an undetermined amount of cash.

This suspect is described as a black male in his 30's with a heavy-set build. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, short and a baseball cap.

It is unknown if the two robberies are related.
