As One Year Mark Nears, Police Renew Efforts To Find Missing Del. Mother
WILMINGTON, DEL. (CBS) – Police are stepping up the search for a Delaware mother who vanished nearly a year ago.
New Castle County Police and the FBI are launching a new campaign to find Nefertiri "Neffie" Trader.
The mother of three vanished from her New Castle home on June 30, 2014.
A neighbor told police he saw Trader being forced into her car, a 2000 silver Acura RL with the license plate 404893, around 4 a.m.
No one has seen Trader since.
Police have now issued a Gold Alert, as they say they have not received much information on the case. Several billboards will also be up along the I-95 corridor, and a combined reward of up to $30,000 from the FBI and New Castle County is being offered for information leading to the arrest and/or conviction of the suspect or suspects in the case.
Trader is described as an African-American female who is about 5'6". She has brown hair and brown eyes and was last seen in her silver Acura.
