Police Issue Warrant For Arrest Of Suspect In 7-Eleven Hit-Run
YEADON, Pa. (CBS) -- After several citizens came forward to help police identify the driver in a shocking hit and run in Delaware County that was caught on tape, police now have a warrant out for the driver's arrest.
Thirty-two-year-old Willaisha Rankins, of Upper Darby, is facing seven charges, including having an accident that resulted in bodily injury and failing to render aid to the victim.
Surveillance cameras captured the violent incident around 10:30 p.m. on June 9. Gejea Ejeta, 24, can be seen taking out the garbage in front of the 7-Eleven store on Church Lane, when out of nowhere he is struck by a car, sending him right through the window.

In the aftermath of the crash, one passenger can be seen causally exiting the vehicle and walking away, while another jumps from the backseat. The passenger from the backseat can be seen returning to the car before fleeing.
Amazingly, despite the violent collisions, Ejeta, an Ethiopian who has been working at the 7-Eleven for two months, survived with only a sore leg and a bruised hip.
Police say that Rankins has now retained a lawyer and is suspected to surrender sometime on Friday.
