Police Investigating Attempted Luring In Camden County
PINE HILL, NJ (CBS) – Police in Camden County are investigating an attempted luring that allegedly happened in Pine Hill.
On June 25th, police responded to West Branch Avenue for a report of a white van following a female.
Officers at the scene were unable to locate the vehicle or the girl.
The officer contacted the original caller by phone, and she reported that she'd seen a white van stopped in the southbound lane on West Branch talking to a teenage girl.
The van was described as a "work" type van, similar to a Ford Econoline.
The caller said he/she assisted the female and the van left the area heading south on West Branch.
The van reportedly had New Jersey license plates with a partial registration number containing "WG4" and black-tinted rear windows.
The 13-year-old female reported the van pulled up next to her and the male driver told her to get int. She said the man was of Middle Eastern descent and was approximately 40 years old.
