Police Investigating Armed Robbery At West Oak Lane RiteAid
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) - Police are investigating an armed robbery at a RiteAid in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia Sunday night.
Police responded to the scene in the 1300 block of East Washington Lane at about 8:15 p.m., around the time the store typically closes on a Sunday, according to officials.
Authorities say at least two suspects entered the store, rounded up the employees and then handcuffed them before robbing the establishment. Police said no customers were in the store at the time of the robbery.
The suspects fled the scene taking an unknown amount of money.

People who are used to shopping at this store are shocked to know that it was robbed.
"That's a strange sight for me, especially for this RiteAid. It's one of the better RiteAids in the RiteAid family, at least in Philadelphia," said one frequent visitor.
At this time, police are looking at the store's surveillance video for a description of the suspects.
