Police Investigate Shooting In Lawncrest
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a shooting that critically wounded a man in Northeast Philadelphia.
It happened around 11 p.m. Sunday in the 900 block of Bridge Street near Summerdale Avenue in the city's Lawncrest section.
Authorities say the victim was shot multiple times in the chest. He was taken to Einstein Medical Center in critical condition.
Police were searching for the gunman. The motive for the shooting wasn't initially clear.
