Police Investigate Robbery At Dunkin' Donuts In Northeast Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Philadelphia police are investigating an armed robbery that occurred in the Olney neighborhood of the city.
According to police, an armed robber entered the Dunkin' Donuts on Rising Sun Avenue around 11:30 p.m. Saturday night and demanded money from employees at gun point.
The suspect got away with $220 according to investigators.
Officials say no customers were in the store at the time and there were no injuries.
The suspect has been described as a 6-foot-3, black male between the ages of 25 and 35. He has a thin build and beard and was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt and was armed with a shotgun.
