Police Investigate Reported Rape Of Girl At Rec Center In Grays Ferry
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Philadelphia police are investigating a 14-year-old girl's allegations that she was raped by a classmate at a recreation center in Grays Ferry.
The alleged incident happened Wednesday afternoon inside a bathroom at the Vare Recreation Center.
Sources tell Eyewitness News the girl told police she was forced into a bathroom and sexually assaulted by a male classmate.
Police says the girl is being evaluated at Saint Christopher's Hospital.
The incident remains under investigation.
