Police Investigate Possible Overdoses At Local Concert Venue
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating nine possible overdoses at a Center City concert venue.
According to police, when officers arrived at the Electric Factory, located at 7th and Callowhill Street, around 8 p.m. Saturday night they found nine concertgoers passed out.
Police say they were all taken to the hospital and are expected to recover. The drug is suspected to be ecstasy.
No arrests were made.
The band Zeds Dead was set to perform, but the Electric Factory was shut down after this incident.
