Police Investigate North Philadelphia Shooting, 2 Dead, 2 Hospitalized

PHILADELPHIA (CBS) -- Police are investigating a shooting in North Philadelphia that left two men dead and two others hospitalized Tuesday night.

According to authorities, someone opening fire just before 8 p.m. on the 3000 block of North 8th Street.

A 37-year-old man and a 36-year-old man were both shot in the chest. One man was pronounced dead at the scene, while the other was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.

A 31-year-old man is in stable condition after being shot twice in the leg and transported to the hospital by private vehicle. A 33-year-old woman is in critical condition after being shot in the abdomen and buttocks, she was also transported to Temple Hospital.

At this time, police do not have any leads on suspects or motive in the shooting.
